JCSSE 2011 Call for Papers
The 8th Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering
May 11-13, 2011 at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand
The 8th Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering
(JCSSE 2011) will be held on May 11-13, 2011 at Mahidol University,
Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand
(30 minutes from downtown Bangkok).
The conference theme is Driving towards Discovery as it emphasizes on
the discovery of software and computing technologies that would help
people in need of basic supports for everyday living. The conference will
bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, practitioners and
professionals to present their novel accomplishments and innovations in
computer science and software engineering as well as their applications.
The conference will be conducted in English except the additional Thai
tracks for local researchers.
Location:
Nakhon Pathom is renowned for its landmark “Phra Pathom Chedi”
which signified the influx of Buddhism into Thailand. Only 30 minutes
from downtown Bangkok, Salaya district in Nakhon Pathom offers
natural beauty, landscaped gardens and lush tropical scenery.
Nakhon Pathom is also known for abundant of tropical fruits and
traditional Thai history.

Paper Submission:
Authors are invited to submit a 400-word (1 page) abstract summarizing
an original work finalized or in progress, and then a full paper (6 pages)
describing the original work to JCSSE 2011 website
(http://www.jcsse.org)
All the manuscripts must be written in English and should be prepared in
given style by JCSSE bureau. All submitted papers will be reviewed by
the Technical Program Committee. After you win the acceptance
notification, you have to prepare the final camera-ready manuscript of
maximum six (6) IEEE double-column formatted pages, the Copyright
Transfer Agreement, and the Speaker’s Biography together.

Full Paper Submission: Jan 30, 2011
Acceptance Notification: Mar 28, 2011
Camera-Ready Manuscript Due: Apr 10, 2011

[AIM and SCOPE]
The tremendous advances in wireless communication and mobile
computing technologies have created a new computing and
communication environment that provides services anytime and
anywhere for everyone. Such an environment enables users to
access a wide range of services and applications using a large
variety of mobile and ubiquitous devices (e.g., cell phones,
handheld computers, and so on). In order to accelerate this
trend in the future, further progresses of the researches on
wireless and pervasive computing, especially on data management,
are necessary.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together practitioners and
researchers from both academia and industry in order to have a
forum for discussion and technical presentations on the current
researches and future research directions related to this hot
research area.

DASFAA is an annual international database conference, located in the
Asia-Pacific region, which showcases state-of-the-art R&D activities
in database systems and their applications. It provides a forum for
technical presentations and discussions among database researchers,
developers and users from academia, business and industry.
DASFAA 2011 (http://www.cintec.cuhk.edu.hk/DASFAA2011/) will be held
in Hong Kong, one of the most important financial centers in the world
and a gateway to China. Hong Kong has significant activities in
