日本データベース学会の皆さま筑波大学の天笠です． 2012年2月15日に開催予定の宇宙科学情報解析シンポジウムの講演申し込みの締切が近づいて参りましたので，再度ご案内します．関連分野での成果をお持ちの方はぜひ発表をご検討ください．また聴講での参加も歓迎しております．よろしくお願いいたします．天笠俊之 ______________________________________________________________________ 2011（平成23）年度宇宙科学情報解析シンポジウム開催のお知らせ近年、宇宙科学における様々な分野において、観測装置と計算機の大型化によって、以前に比べて飛躍的に大量のデータを取得することが可能になってきています。そのために、観測から科学的成果を産出するにあたって、大規模データをいかに効率良く解析し必要な情報を引き出すかが、新たな技術課題となりつつあります。また、デジタル技術の普及に伴い、デジタルプラネタリウムや様々なアプリケーションに代表されるように、宇宙観測データが科学研究以外の分野でも広く利用されるようになってきています。そこで、本シンポジウムでは、宇宙科学データ（シミュレーションデータを含む）に関する新しい処理、解析、利用の手法、データベース技術やそれを応用したシステムの構築技術、運用技術など、宇宙科学、情報科学、情報技術にまたがる研究開発をテーマとした発表を広く募集します。普段はなかなか接する機会のない、周辺領域の研究者、技術者の間で、深く掘り下げた情報交換や活発な議論を期待しています。なお、シンポジウムの収録は査読付きの「宇宙科学情報解析論文誌」（英語名:Journal of Space Science Informatics Japan）として、 JAXAから出版予定です。冊子として発行されると同時に、「JAXAリポジトリ」（http://repository.tksc.jaxa.jp）からオンラインで参照可能になります（昨年度のシンポジウム収録を中心とした論文誌第一号は年度内に発行予定です）。日時: 平成 24 年 2 月 15 日 (水) 10:00-18:00 (終了時刻は予定) 場所: 宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究所　(神奈川県相模原市中央区由野台3-1-1) 　研究管理棟 (新 A 棟) 2 F 会議室A 講演・発表をご希望の方は * 発表タイトル * 発表者名 * 所属・連絡先 * 口頭発表、ポスター発表の希望 * 旅費希望の有無を plainsympo AT c-soda.isas.jaxa.jp 宛に電子メールでお申し込み下さい。なおプログラムの作成上、講演申し込みの締切は平成 24 年 1 月 27 日 (金) までとさせて頂きます。多くの方々からの講演申し込みをお待ちしています。ご参考までに、過去の宇宙科学情報解析シンポジウムについては、 http://c-soda.isas.jaxa.jp/sympo/ をご覧ください。お問い合わせは plainsympo AT c-soda.isas.jaxa.jp までお願い致します。世話人：海老沢　研、篠原　育、三浦　昭、山本　幸生 (宇宙科学情報解析研究系)

シンポジウムのご案内：空間情報科学のソーシャル・インタフェース

3月13日（火）13:00-15:00（603講義室）「大規模言語資源時代の意味談話処理」　乾健太郎氏（東北大学）概要：言語の意味談話レベルの処理にとって最大の障害の一つは「知識のボトルネック」にあった．しかし，大規模コーパスからの多様な知識獲得が実世界スケールでまわり，獲得された知識が研究者間で共有されるようになった今日，そうした大規模言語資源を使ってこれまでより一段深い言語処理にチェレンジする研究が広がりつつある．本講演では，どうすれば多様な大規模知識を使いこなし言語処理の深化に繋げることができるかという，まだほとんどオープンな問いをテーマの中心にすえ，分布から論理まで多様化する意味/知識表現，知識獲得と意味処理の融合など，近年の研究動向を概観する．略歴：東北大学大学院情報科学研究科教授．自然言語処理，知識処理の研究に従事．1995年東京工業大学で博士（工学）取得，同大学助手，九州工業大学，奈良先端科学技術大学院大学助教授を経て，2010年より現職．言語処理学会理事，社会的知能発生学研究会幹事．Computational 3月13日（火）13:00-15:00（602講義室）「統計的機械翻訳の最先端」　渡辺太郎氏（NICT）概要：近年，機械翻訳は統計的手法を取り入れ，機械学習や構文解析などの基礎的な分野の成果を直接導入することにより，飛躍的に性能が向上した．本チュートリアルでは，この統計的機械翻訳の最新のトピックを中心に解説する．まず基礎的な単語や句に基づく統計的機械翻訳の復習し，木構造に基づく機械翻訳を説明．また教師有/無の学習法の活用について解説する．略歴：1994年京都大学工学部情報工学科卒業．1997年京都大学工学研究科情報工学専攻修士課程修了．2000年Language and Information Technologies, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, Master of Science取得．2004年京都大学博士（情報学）．ATRおよびNTTにて研究員として務めた後，現在，情報通信研究機構主任研究員．主に統計的機械翻訳の研究に従事．（T-c） 3月13日（火）15:15-17:15（603講義室）「ネットワークと機械学習」　鹿島久嗣氏（東京大学）概要：機械学習は，データの中に隠された知見を発見し，そして将来に何が起こるのかを予測するためのデータ分析技術であり，自然言語処理をはじめとする数多くの分野において成功を収めてきた．従来，機械学習による分析の興味の対象は，個々のデータそれぞれのもつ性質であったが，近年その興味は，ソーシャルネットワークにおけるユーザー同士の関係や，オンラインショッピングサイトにおける顧客と商品の関係に代表されるデータ間の関係，すなわちネットワーク構造へと移行しつつある．そこで本チュートリアルでは，近年目覚ましい発展を遂げているネットワーク構造を対象とした分析手法の研究動向について概観する．略歴：1999年京都大学工学研究科応用システム科学専攻修士課程修了．2007年京都大学情報学研究科知能情報学専攻博士課程修了．博士（情報学）．1999年から2009年まで日本アイ・ビー・エム（株）東京基礎研究所に勤務．2009年より東京大学情報理工学系研究科数理情報学専攻准教授．機械学習，データマイニングの研究に従事．（T-d） 3月13日（火）15:15-17:15（602講義室）「『現代日本語書き言葉均衡コーパス』による日本語研究の展開」　山崎誠氏（国立国語研究所）概要：2011年に完成した「現代日本語書き言葉均衡コーパス」（略称，BCCWJ）は，日本で初めての本格的な大規模均衡コーパスである．本発表ではBCCWJがどのように構築されたかを具体的に紹介するとともに，BCCWJの特徴を踏まえて日本語研究が今後どのように進展していくか，その展望を述べる．BCCWJの特徴としてアノテーションの充実が挙げられる．例えば，２種類の言語単位による形態素解析が施されている．用例収集や基本語彙の分析に適した短単位と，特徴語を反映し構文的な機能の分析に適した長単位の２つである．また，文書構造を表すタグも施されており，見出しや本文，引用，注記などの要素を指定した処理が可能になっている．さらに，書誌情報としてそれぞれのサブコーパスに応じたカテゴリの情報（書籍で言えば日本十進分類法の情報）や著者の属性（性別，生年代）なども付与されている．なお，BCCWJは解析精度が全体で約98％であり，エラーも含まれている．そのような利用に当たっての注意点やデータの限界についても言及する．人文系の日本語研究でもコーパスの利用は普及しつつあり，今後は研究手法の洗練化，ツール類の充実が望まれる．言語処理の研究者とのコラボレーションが真に必要な段階になってきたと言えよう．略歴：1980年埼玉大学教養学部卒．1984年筑波大学大学院文藝・言語研究科中退．文学修士．現在，大学共同利用機関法人人間文化研究機構国立国語研究所言語資源研究系准教授．1984年以降，国立国語研究所で語彙調査，シソーラス（『分類語彙表増補改訂版』）の編纂，コーパス（現代日本語書き言葉均衡コーパス）の構築に携わる．専門は計量日本語学．著書に，『言語研究のための統計入門』（共編著，くろしお出版，2010），『複合辞研究の現在』（共編著，和泉書院，2006）等．
