13 Jun '17

原　隆浩 =================================================== | 原隆浩 (Takahiro HARA), 工学博士 | | 大阪大学大学院情報科学研究科　　　　　　 | | マルチメディア工学専攻教授　 | | 〒565-0871 大阪府吹田市山田丘1-5 | | E-mail: hara(a)ist.osaka-u.ac.jp | | URL: http://www-nishio.ist.osaka-u.ac.jp/~hara/ | | Tel: 06-6879-4510, Fax: 06-6879-4514 | =================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CALL FOR PAPERS Cognitive IoT 2017 - 1st International Workshop on Empowering IoT with Cognition and Intelligent Agents Organized in the scope of ACM SenSys 2017 - 15th ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems Delft, The Netherlands, November 6-8, 2017 http://sensys.acm.org/2017/ <http://sensys.acm.org/2017/> Keywords: Internet of Things; People-IoT interactions; Multi-agent systems; Cognitive systems; Affective computing; Ambient intelligence. Scope: Recent advances in the Internet of Things (IoT), particularly in the definition of new reference architectures, such as FIWARE, go towards a growing integration of the physical, social and cyber spaces. The IoT supporting technologies are becoming robust, viable, cheaper and widely available to citizens. The delivery of low-cost people-centric services through IoT is becoming increasingly viable, which is giving rise to the emergence of a people-centric IoT. This also raises the need for smarter, context-aware and cognitive-based services to be provided through these platforms. Moreover, the distributed characteristics of IoT resources leads to increasing needs for autonomy, reactivity, proactivity and social ability, characteristics that intelligent agents have been tackling in the last decades. This workshop intends to bring together researchers working on the confluence of intelligent and cognitive systems with the Internet of Things and related areas. We aim to provide the opportunity to promote the presentation and discussion of ongoing work in the area, which will encourage cross-fertilization between various current approaches. In this context, we welcome papers describing ongoing work the confluence of intelligent and cognitive systems with the Internet of Things, including, but not limited to, the following topics: * Intelligent systems for IoT * Multi-Agent Systems for IoT * Cognitive services for IoT * Context awareness in IoT * Human in the Loop * Cyber Physical Systems * People-centric systems and solutions * People-IoT Interactions * Cloud-based People-centric IoT Applications and Environments * Affective Computing in IoT * Machine learning for IoT * IoT for Ambient Intelligence * Distributed security in Cognitive IoT Submissions must be made through the main conference site: http://sensys.acm.org/2017/ <http://sensys.acm.org/2017/> Important dates Submission deadline: July 15th, 2017 Notification of acceptance: September 15th, 2017 Camera-Ready papers: September 22nd, 2017 Workshop co-chairs Fernando Boavida, University of Coimbra, Portugal Takahiro Hara, Osaka University, Japan Nic Lane, University College London, United Kingdom Technical Program Committee (more committee members may be added) Amilcar Cardoso, University of Coimbra, Portugal Carlos Carrascosa, Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain Jose Luis Castillo Sequera, University of Alcala, Spain Ioannis Chatzigiannakis, University of Rome La Sapienza, Italy Juan M.
