These devices include mote-class sensors as well as actuators, RFIDs, cameras, cellular phones, etc. This workshop encourages papers that address a variety of issues arising from this broad range of sensing-related systems and applications. The goal of this workshop is to provide a unique forum to exchange ideas, discuss solutions, and share experiences among researchers, professionals, and application developers both from industry and academia. Original papers addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of distributed sensor systems are solicited. Papers describing prototype implementations and deployment of sensor systems are particularly welcome. DBSJ学生会員諸君 ※特に，今回発表はないけれどDEWS２００７へ参加して来年のDEWSに備えたい学生会員諸君へご承知のように，2007年2月28日（水）〜 3月2日（金），広島プリンスホテル（広島県広島市）で“DEWS2007（電子情報通信学会第18回データ工学ワークショップ／第5回日本データベース学会年次大会）”（http://dews2007.ics.ritsumei.ac.jp/）が開催されます．しかし，参加してみたいけれど論文は出していないし，研究室から旅費出してもらえない，でも行ってみたいなーーー，と切に思っている本会学生(学部生・院生)会員の方いらっしゃいませんか？朗報です！！！　　　　　撮影隊員（学生アルバイト）５名募集！！！＃＃＃タダ（全額DBSJ負担）でDEWS2007に行けるぞ！！！＃＃＃今回発表はないけれどDEWS２００７へ参加して来年のDEWSに備えたいと思っている皆さん，ぜひ今すぐ下記に応募してください．日本データベース学会が，リコー製ディジタルアーカイビングツールMPMeisterIIを用いて2人一組のチーム，計５チームでほぼ全発表(270件？)をディジタルアーカイビングする撮影隊のアルバイトです．2月27日（火）から前泊して3月2日のワークショップ終了まで，3泊4日の「宿泊費］，「DEWS2007参加費］，「交通費］を『全額』日本データベース学会が支給します．関東からでも，関西からでも，九州からでも，どこからでもかまいません．撮影隊は2人で1チームですから，アーカイビングの合間に，どうしても聞きたいセッションに融通しあって出席することも可能でしょう．また，恒例の夜の宴会はアーカイビングの作業はありませんから，DEWS参加者と交流出来ます．こんな，いい話はありません．今年が3度目の試みです．　　　　　　　　　　記１．アルバイト期間：　　2007年2月27日（火）〜 3月2日（金）(現地集合，現地解散) 2月27日中に広島プリンスホテルにチェックインしてください．2月28日午前打ち合わせとリハーサル．同日午後より撮影開始，3月2日DEWS2007終了・後片付けの後現地解散．２．募集学生数：　　　５　(学部生，院生を問いません．) ディジタルアーカイビングに意欲を持つ方．３．アルバイト内容：（株）リコー製のディジタルアーカイビングツールMPMeisterIIを用いてDEWS2007での発表のディジタルアーカイビング作業を2人一組で行う．このアーカイブはDBSJのホームページより会員にストリーム配信される．４．作業形態：ディジタルアーカイビングは５セッションパレレルで行うので，５チーム構成する．田中研（京大）・西尾研（阪大）・北川研（筑波大）・横田研（東工大）・お茶大（増永研）はdefaultで各々学生１名とMPMeisterIIを組み込んだコンピュータ一式を持参して中心的にアーカイビングに臨むので，募集している５名はそれぞれのチームに１名づつの配属となり，２名ペアでアーカイビングに取り組むことになる．５．MPMeisterIIの使い方： 2月28日の午前中に実機を使ってリハーサルする．リコーの石井様が懇切丁寧に指導してくださるので心配は不要．しかし，MPMeisterIIについては，http://www.ricoh.co.jp/solution/jirei/330101_6_j/に日本データベース学会のMPMeister導入事例が掲載されているので，まずそれをアクセスして事前に理解すること．６．アルバイト謝金：2月27日〜3月2日（3泊4日)の宿泊費，DEWS参加費，交通費を全額支給．交通費は各自異なるので，一時立て替えてもらって，後日学会より銀行振り込みする．（しかし，学会の経費負担軽減のため，学割や早期割引運賃で対応して欲しい）７．応募要領：2007年2月13日(火)午後5時までに，氏名，所属（大学名／大学院名，学年，所属研究室名），連絡先（研究室電話番号及び(あれば)携帯電話番号，e-mail address），『抱負』（是非やってみたいという熱意が伝わるような簡単な文章），を記載したメールを；dbsj-office(a)dbsj.org に送付すること．なお，件名には「学生アルバイト応募」と記載すること．質問があれば，日本データベース学会事務局にメール（前記のアドレス）すること．８．応募結果の通知：〆切後，迅速に厳正なる選考を行い，採用になった学生には直ちに本人にメールで知らせる．採用された学生はそれを受けて直ちにDEWS2007に自分で『参加登録』すること．また切符等の手配をすること．なお，過去４回の年次大会（DEWS2003，DEWS2004, DEWS2005, DEWS2006は工事中）のディジタルアーカイブはDBSJのホームページからストリーム配信されています(http://www.dbsj.org/)．現… 日本データベース学会会長 --- 増永良文お茶の水女子大学理学部情報科学科
