The 43rd IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE 2025)
is the IEEE Consumer Technology Society’s annual flagship conference that
will take place in conjunction with CES. ICCE 2025 will bring together top
professionals from industry, government, and academia from around the
world. The theme of the conference is “Imaginations with Consumer
Technology ". The conference will provide networking opportunities for
participants to share ideas, designs, and experiences on the
state-of-the-art and future direction of consumer technologies. ICCE 2025
will feature comprehensive high-quality technical and industry programs
covering traditional and contemporary topics delivered through lecture,
and interactive oral presentations, tutorials, industry forums, mixed
panels and high profile keynotes. Authors should register under the "Full"
registration category to get their papers published in the Conference
Proceedings and IEEE Xplore®. Authors with multiple papers must register
each paper separately with the requisite fee. Authors of selected papers
with the highest reviews may be invited to extend their conference papers
into high quality journal papers to special issues of peer-reviewed
journals of CTSoc (e.g., IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics and
IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine). For the details and updates, please

The annual SIGIR-AP conference is an annual ACM-sponsored international
forum that promotes and disseminates information retrieval research and
development within the Asia-Pacific region. The 2nd ACM SIGIR-AP conference
(SIGIR-AP 2024) will be held in Tokyo from the 9th to the 12th of December
2024.
SIGIR-AP 2024 is looking for proposals for tutorials that explore topics
relevant to information retrieval and its practical uses. Each tutorial
should focus deeply on a single subject. For example, tutorials might cover
well-established areas of information retrieval, introduce new applications
of retrieval technologies, or provide updates on recent advances in related
fields.

- Proposal submission: September 13, 2024
- Proposal acceptance notification: September 30, 2024
- Tutorial overview summary due: October 7, 2024
- Tutorial day: December 9, 2024
[SUBMISSION GUIDELINES]
Submissions should include a cover sheet and an extended abstract. The
cover sheet should include the following elements:
- Title and length (either half-day (two 90-minutes sessions with break),
or full day (four 90-minutes sessions with breaks)) of the tutorial.
- Intended audience (introductory, intermediate, advanced) and prerequisite
knowledge or skills required.
- Detailed contact information of all presenters (and an indication of the
main contact person).
- Brief biography (max. 2 paragraphs) for each presenter, highlighting
relevant experience in presenting tutorials, teaching grad classes,
organizing summer schools, etc.
The extended abstract (no longer than 4 pages) should include the following
sections:
- Motivation.
- Objectives.
- Relevance to the information retrieval community and reference to
tutorials in the same area at SIGIR or related conferences (including WSDM,
WWW, KDD, ACL, RecSys, ICML, etc.).
- Format and detailed schedule.
- Type of support materials to be supplied to attendees
Tutorial proposals should be prepared in the current ACM two-column
conference format. Suitable LaTeX, Word, and Overleaf templates are
available from the ACM Website (use the “sigconf” proceedings template).
The submissions will be reviewed by a tutorial selection committee, and
final decisions will be made at the SIGIR-AP Program Committee meeting.

The organizers of accepted tutorials will be invited to submit a four-page
summary of the tutorial, to be included in the conference proceedings.
