Please register to your favourite tasks NOW! http://research.nii.ac.jp/ntcir/ntcir-10/howto.html Concluding Workshop Meeting to be held in June 18-21, 2013 at NII, Tokyo, Japan. http://research.nii.ac.jp/ntcir/ntcir-10/index.html ################################################## 情報アクセス技術、システムを開発して終わりにしていませんか？ NTCIRワークショップは過去10年以上に渡って、様々な情報アクセス技術の評価 基盤の形成とその研究コミュニティへの提供に取り組ん できました。情報 学の 最先端で活躍される研究者によって運営されてきた評価タスクはのべ44を数え、 タスクへの総参加グループ数は600以上にものぼりま す。前回の NTCIR-9では14 カ国から参加があり、6割以上は海外からの参加グループでした。これらのコ ミュティ活動から生まれた評価用データ セットは「テ ストコレクション」と呼 ばれ、新しい情報アクセス技術に対し再現性の高い評価実験環境を提供します。 現在、1500以上の研究グループが NTCIRテスト コレクションを研究目的で利用 しています。またNTCIRでは日々開発される新しい技術の評価手法についても活 発に議論しています。 この度、記念すべき第10回目のワークショップとなるNTCIR-10の詳細が決まりま した。 情報アクセス分野の学生や若手研究者のみなさん、指導学生が（沢山）いらっ しゃる先生方、企業で研究をなさっている方、または情報学に興 味のある 方々、どなたでも自由に参加できます。お誘い合わせの上、奮ってご参加下さい！ 情報アクセス技術の進歩を一緒に体験しましょう！ NTCIR (NII Testbeds and Community for Information access Research) is a sesquiannual evaluation forum for tackling various information access problems, with a particular emphasis on multilingual tasks. The First NTCIR Workshop (NTCIR-1) was concluded in 1999. Over a decade later at the Ninth NTCIR Workshop (NTCIR-9, concluded December 2011), ninety research teams from fourteen countries/regions participated in one or more tasks.
